Nominee profile template

Once you have returned the council election nomination form, you will need to complete and submit your nominee profile before 4pm AEST Thursday 21 September 2023. Following the close of nominations, profiles and pictures will be uploaded to the QLS website for public viewing.

Images should be JPEG or TIFF format, at least 300 pixels wide (larger if possible) and saved to maximum quality. Original, unedited colour images are preferred.

Please note: Legal Profession (Society) Rules 2007 permits the following:

Rule 31(3) The nomination of a candidate may include a statement (the ‘candidate’s statement’) of no more than 150 words outlining:

  1. the candidate’s service to the legal profession or service to the community (or both);
  2. the area of law in which the candidate practises; and
  3. any special interests which the candidate has, whether inside or outside the legal profession.

Please ensure you keep to the word limit, as the word limit will be strictly enforced.
